Meet the team
Derek Bachman
Derek Bachman is a co-founder of WheelCare Mobility and serves as the Chief Information Officer. He is a proud Army veteran and is originally from the Chicagoland area. Derek graduated from Troy University with a Master of Science in Management (MSM) with a concentration in Leadership. Derek combines leadership, resilience, and technical expertise with a passion for helping others to make a meaningful impact in his clients' lives—because everyone deserves the freedom to move with confidence.​​

Theodore Taylor
Theodore “Theo” Taylor, a co-founder of WheelCare Mobility, specializes in the provision of repair services for Personal Mobility Vehicles and the oversight of financial management. He is a veteran of the United States Army, having served for over two decades, and was subsequently employed by the Department of Veteran Affairs for fifteen years. Mr. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University.​
Wesley Shackleford
Wesley Shackleford, Chief Business Officer of WheelCare Mobility, possesses a diverse professional background encompassing operations management, law enforcement, and military service. He previously held leadership roles as CEO of a Ford Dealership and Vice President at S&S Associates. Wesley earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and an MBA with a concentration in Public Administration. His mechanical and electrical expertise stems from family heritage, military training, and a personal passion for performance automotives.
